We don't wanna grow up...

Am chatting with ting about this growing up issue and probably a phase where everyone will face - before graduation and the period right after graduation. We start to panick, looking left and right, up and down, down and up, right to left, for the right direction as well as right thing to do. I was once stucked with this kind of emotion before - the "lost" feeling - but not now. Perhaps its the fact that I still have 1 + years of NS to serve, thats the reason why that feeling has subsided.

Often when we encounter such feeling, we have a huge tendency to look back into our past. And we just tell ourselves, "I don't wanna grow up, wo bu xiang zhang da" We envy the lives of little boys and girls, where their only worries are - homework, time for meals, time for cartoons, time to play "masak", and time to pester daddy to bring us to zoo this weekend. Life is often so simple, no financial worries etc. This is because for the past 13 to 14 years of our life, our path are laid, carefully and specially for us to follow. We knew where we are going next and with just a little effort put into our studies, we will move on to the next level.
Now? We are thrown into the wild, the adult and working world where you have to seek for ultimate guide to survival. Its either you slog for others, being thrashed and screwed everyday or you can do the vice-versa. Needless to say, this world is cruel and selfish, where everyman is for themselves.

Just hope ting can get over this depression and lost stage. time to move on pal. start to worry but stay positive at the same time. there's a whole wide world for you to conquer in future. good luck!

Time for bed. Yawn! sad! coz its the end of another joyful season. Lets look forward to the next christmas shall we? Good night.
